2006 The Year Of Timbaland?

As 2006 comes to a close what do you all say it, was it Timbaland's year? Did he dominate Pop music? What about radio? Do you feel he was recognized for his work? And looking into next year how excited are you to hear what he's got for us?

In my opinion, Tim didn't necessarily dominate the airwaves even though he did have three #1 hits including the biggest of his career. What Timbo did do is once again change the sound of music. Furtado's and more so Timberlake's albums were sonically on another level. What other track this year sounded even close to "My Love"? "Promiscuous" and "Maneater" brought the 80s back to Pop music but not in the typical let's-sample-an-80s-song sort of way.

I say wait until next year when I'm pretty positive you'll start hearing the copy cats. They're always a step behind The King and they come in droves. I suspect too that yet again Timbo will switch up his sound. So with all this said here's a list of confirmed 2006 Timbo tracks that did not make the final cut on various albums (props to Bigmac!):

Lloyd Banks "My House"
Lloyd Banks "Rotten Apple"
Ludacris "Based On A True Story"
Jojo "Show I Can"
LL Cool J unkown title
Kardinall Offishall unknown title
The Game "Ol' English"
Jay-Z "Your Favorite"

Happy New Year everyone!!

The only track I own is Lloyd Banks "My House"

The rest I don't own but have confirmed with other people who know about them...

There are 2 version of "Ol' English" Hi Tek's (which made the album) and Timbo's (which didn't)

Not sure about that Kardinal track.. "On Wid Da Show" is off Kardinal's first album "Quest for Fire: Firestarter Vol. 1" and I'm almost positive it's not produced by Timbo.

I more or less assume [hope?] the JoJo track will still be released, maybe a re-release on the album...and it's a confirmed song, it's been registered for ages as written by Tim & Sean Garret [not Stephen/Static]

YES! I forgot that one! The unreleased Jay-Z track is called "Your Favorite"

Thanks for the reminder!

I'm not sure if the Timbo/Nas one really happened or was a rumor.
