Vote for Tim's next single
The New Media Department at Interscope wants to know which track is generating the most buzz off Tim's new album and this is where we the fans come in. They want to know our opinions about what we think the 2nd single should be. They are leaning towards "Release" but still want to get feedback from the fans.

but i REALLY want BOUNCE to be one of the singles
The Way I Are will shit on everything out! Release is far too similar to previous singles and Keri needs a chance to shine
"The Way I Are" fo sure. And just cause Interscope might want "Release" as next single, that means shit. As far as I know they had a hard time gettin clearance from Jive for "Give It To Me". its called OVEREXPOSURE. dont like that song 2 be honest. (Big A)

"Release" is a hot joint! But personally I love the track with Elton John, that would make a great vid :)
the way i are, misommunication and bounce... everyone seems to be sayin the same. i love the keru trax. but bounce needs to kill the clubs, i cant stop my head bouncin to that.
Way I Are is a great track and is a great track for "urban" audiences. It would make a great single!
Also One and Only with Fall Out Boy, just a really good, catchy and funny tune as well but in a different market.

It isn't bad, just not that great at all...the beat is like maneater but less bonkers. It feels to me like just an excuse to have justin timberlake on another single.
that said...it should be BOUNCE *grins* Yeah I know, still JT, but the song is just nuts. club banger all the way.

"Scream". In my opinion, it's the only "great" song on the entire album. Cut off Timbo's spoken word outro and you've got a three minute radio edit right there. Or "The Way I Are", if it didn't have that little D.O.E. rap. Who's the other male vocalist on the song?
You know they only wanna release "Release" because of JT, but to be honest the best track on the entire record is "The Way I Are" followed by "Bounce" - the next best are "Come Around", "Bombay" & "Apologize"

Obviously Bounce should be released as a single. It would be ridiculously popular and it contains everything necessary for it to be a success.
The Way I Are would be a great showcase for Keri Hilson, and being the best track on the album doesnt hurt.
Scream would also work well as a single, but either One and Only or Throw it on Me (or both!) should be released as singles to appeal to different listeners.

i've come to a sad realization after hearing shock value... danjahandz is who i've been enjoying listening to for the last year or so... not timbo. it's never really been 100% clear (to me at least) how much involvement tim has had on recent projects like nelly furtado, justin timberlake etc. i can say now though - i see a pretty damn clear line between that the signature sound of danjahandz and that of tim's.
anyone else have thoughts on this?
release Come Around as a single, and throw a re-packaging of the cd out with the overseas bonus tracks for american fans..

Release is cool, but to me it's a bit too little, it's cool for the club, but to listen to it, hardly anything that sticks out and makes you want to hear it again.
Way I are is cool and the Salt'n'Pepa sample (dont' know the original) might help it to stick
Bounce could be a hit based on the line-up, they probably would need to make a version with different lyrics to play it more mainstream...
One & Only or Throw it on me if they want to market to a different group of listeners

The album is a HUGE disappointment, but "The Way I Are" is one of the highlights and then follow that up with "Bounce"

Reasons : A collabo with 50 cent will attract more people attention. The beat is sick! Catchy chorus! Club playable track is always more popular!

listen to Diddy's "Wanna Move" and "Diddy Rock" and Furtado's "Showtime," to me it sounds like watered-down Tim. i think what you're goin' for is Tim works best with Danja, these solo Danja beats aren't bad but they ain't all that either.
lookin' at All Music, looks like Danja (Hills) has production input on six tracks.
lotta writing credits on a handful of songs beyond the featured guests though, but at this point i can't tell if it's from samples or co-producers.
and, i'd give my two cents on the next single, but i'm holdin' out to get this

Speaking of allmusic.com, looks like they rated "Shock Value" as pretty mediocre...2.5/5 stars. I'll be interested to read the actual review when it's posted.

The next single should be Time - featuring She Wants Revenge....and the video should be directed by Michele Gondry or Dave Meyers...the songs chorus has a very dark but hypnotic tone and great guitar rifts..
the 3rd single should be the way i are feat. keri hilson & doe but the video should be directed by dave meyers and should not have DOE in it...instead cut to "The way I are" or "bounce" for one min....like the end of missy videos
