Timstrumental of the Week
Figured I'd use this week to take a lil break from the Superfriends to highlight a track that blew me away when it dropped. Beanie Sigel's IN THE CLUB. The track was first featured on the BACKSTAGE soundtrack compilation by DJ Clue in 1999.
What struck me was how different it sounded from Timmy's 'sound' at the time but still had that Tim feel. Does that make sense?! It showcased Tim's versatility to me, all the reviews for that album always namedropped that song as one of the highlights, so I dont get that it never exploded on the charts when the video for it came out. Thank God it was released as a single too, or we might never have heard the DJ Clue-less version (by far the superior one), and we would never have gotten this incredible Timstumental.

shame i could never get my hands on a DjClue-less version of the actual track for this.
Whoa I never knew it was way back in 1999, I thought it was far more modern.
Could somebody please post the full (non-instrumental) version? I can't seem to find it anywhere on the internet!
