The final say on Omarion's "IceBox"

So there has been so much debate about this track which I don't understand. I've already reported the truth but here it is again in case you missed it:

Tha Court produced this track. Tha Court consists of King and his partner Sir John. Yes they are a part of Timbaland's camp but they did the production. Despite what's listed, despite what people say, despite what you heard, that's the truth coming straight from King himself and confirmed by Sebastian, Timbaland's brother. The Clutch wrote this track.

Yes that is Timbaland you hear on the track and yes he is confirmed to be in the video but just because Timbaland is featured on a track doesn't mean he produced it. For example, "Party" by Sincere f/ Timbaland off the Exit Wounds Soundtrack is produced by Budda. Also "Diddy Rock" by Diddy F/ Twista, Shawnna, & Timbo is produced by Danja.

So there you have it, the truth.

The Royal court is managed by J-Vu entertainment. If you go to J-Vu's myspace page, they have ice box on the page and pictures of King in the studio w/ Tim. The link to their page is http://www.myspace.com/jvuentertainment

The Royal Court is in Timbaland's camp. They are Timbaland's producers. So, therefor obviously it is not strange that Timbaland will be the one getting creditied.

This is not the first time this is or will happen. Just thought i'd add more confirmation to this. Yup, you guessed who it is.

The funny thing about "Diddy Rock" is that Shawnna says "Tim on the track" as if he produced it.

Diddy Rock is co-produced by Tim and Danja... I'm sure you're mistaking it for "Wanna Move", which is solo produced by Danja. There was a wrong set of production credits that are floating around the net as far ask I know...

Looks like I need to buy the Diddy album just to set the record straight on this one....

I'm looking at the liner notes right now, and I can tell you the production is credited only to Danja. Tim has a cowriting credit with everyone else on the track, I guess for the adlib stuff he did, but not coproduction.

Ok, what people need to be aware of is that making a beat is NOT record production. It is simply composition. Record production involves overseeing the creation of a record from initial idea to finished product, including the vocal production elements. A record producer does not have to touch a button or even play an instrument to produce a record.

So although The Court made the beat they did NOT produce the song.
